
Lydia is a composer, sound designer and audio editor who specialises in writing for film and television. Previous work includes award-winning short films, library music and radio productions. Lydia specialises in dark and textual scoring, but also enjoys writing playful and quirky scores.
As a singer and double bassist, her style ranges across orchestral and electronic projects. She graduated from Royal Holloway, University of London, with a Bachelor’s Degree in Music and then went on to complete her Master's Degree with Distinction in Composition of Music for Film and Television at the University of Bristol.

With years of performance in a range of ensembles, Lydia can draw on both practical and academic experience when score writing and has established a unique compositional voice as well as a professional understanding of the relationship between audio and the moving image.
