Lydia is a composer, sound designer and audio editor who specialises in writing for film and television. Previous work includes award-winning short films, library music and radio productions. She graduated from Royal Holloway, University of London, with a Bachelor’s Degree in Music and then went on to complete her Master's Degree with Distinction in Composition of Music for Film and Television at the University of Bristol.
With years of performance in a range of ensembles, as both a double bassist and singer, Lydia can draw on academic and practical experience when score writing and has established a unique compositional voice as well as a professional understanding of the relationship between audio and the moving image.
